The Centre of conciliation and Arbitration for Advanced techniques is a society created under the provisions of the 1901 law ; its essential scope is to facilitate the settlement of disputes in the field of computer and other advanced techniques.

It has been founded in 1988 under the chairmanship of Alain SIMON, Counsellor in the Cassation Court.

The ATA provides :
- rules for conciliation and arbitration ;
- lists of highly qualified arbitrators, either in the legal field, or in the field of advances technologies.

The Arbitration Committee

Each Arbitration, Mediation or Conciliation procedure, as soon as the request is submitted, shall be followed trough by an arbitration committee composed of two members of the ATA. These members are appointed by the President or, in case of impediment, by the Vice-President.
